Wakefield Theatre Company is thrilled to offer a summer intensive for students currently in grades 4-12 (school year 2026-2027). This summer production will allow students across the Wakefield School Community the opportunity to come together and create something truly magical. Wakefield Theatre Co. hopes to foster a warm, welcoming theatre environment that gives students a place within our community from elementary school to graduation.

All rehearals and performances will take place at Wakefield High School. See “Important Dates” below for audition locations. All students participating will be required to audition for placement in the cast.
Cost and Eligibility
Cost: $350
*Includes production t-shirt, two weeks of rehearsal, script, 2 complimentary tickets, dinner for the cast before the first performance, and between shows on Saturday.
Eligibility: Students currently in grades 4-12 (2025-2026 school year)
Important Dates
Attendance, Behavior, and Refunds
- Students are expected to be present for all rehearsals and performances. Due to the quick turnaround, students who are absent may be removed from certain songs/scenes, or the entire program if necessary.
- All absences will be communicated with the director/stage manager as soon as they are known.
- Students are expected to treat everyone with respect, bring a positive attitude, and follow the WTC Code of Contact at all times.
- Refunds/Payment:
- Due to the limited number of participants, students that do not pay by April 15th will be removed from the roster to make space for students on the waitlist.
- Students that withdraw by May 1st will receive a full refund. After May 1st, they will receive a partial refund.
